Miniature bayonet approx. half scale and is approx. 5 inches (128 mm) long, made from solid steel throughout and blued as the original, shown by the side of a 50 pence coin to give a sense of scale.
Half size Miniature Austrian Ersatz bayonet, made from steel and blued.
Half size miniature Austrian WW1 ersatz bayonet. These were originaly produced during WW1 at a time of serious shortages of raw materials as an economy measure, they are an ingenious design and are made of steel throughout with a hardened and tempered steel spring and blued as the original, approx. 7 1/2 inches long (19cm)
Miniature of the experimental sten bayonet with screw attachment
This design is believed to predate the more common type of bayonet designed to fit the sten machine carbine, it is approx 6 inches (15 cm) long and is half the full size. A full size version is shown alongside for comparison only and the full size version is not included in the price, but is available elsewhere on this site. Made from solid steel and welded, with fully working screw attachment, blued as the original, a lovely little thing and a perfect miniature.
